In August 2019, I had the incredible opportunity to attend the Politics, Law, and Economics (III) Session of the Yale Young Global Scholars Program (YYGS). One way the program stood out for me was in being able to interact with my professors and instructors over special meals, over lunch, and after class. Coming back from YYGS, I wanted to make such professional insight more accessible to high school students like myself. Especially as the world is becoming more and more connected, I firmly believe that this interaction is very important for intellectual dynamism. A few months later, in December 2019, I founded this platform, Unravel Economics, which endeavours to connect leading economics researchers, policy-makers, and professors with passionate high-school students.
Bringing in voices and opinions of credibility with the knowledge and experience to bridge the gap between high school students and experts. With the youngest generation growing up with unprecedented levels of awareness and ambitions to succeed, it is important now more than ever to establish this connection.
